Looking for nightlife in Santorini? Or perhaps romantic evenings? This island has it all: let’s explore the possible options offered by Santorini’s nightlife!
Where to have fun in Santorini?
The main places to find nightlife in Santorini are:
- Fira (or Thira): the main town, where you’ll find most of the nightclubs, discobars, but also cocktail bars with a view of the caldera: Fira is suitable for both those seeking drinks and dance until late and those looking for relaxation or a romantic evening;
- Perissa (or Perivolos): the village adjacent to Perissa Beach: the nightlife in this area of Santorini is more low-key and suitable for all tastes: there are numerous beachfront bars and restaurants, cocktail bars where you can also dance, depending on the season;
- Oia: the most famous white town, where you’ll find a more romantic and “VIP” atmosphere, with lots of restaurants and cocktail bars with a view.
If nightlife is one of the goals of your trip, you should choose accommodation near one of these areas, so you won’t be left out. Discover the best areas to stay in Santorini to make sure you get it right.
Nightlife in Fira: The Party Scene
Most of the nightlife spots in the town of Fira are located along the 2-3 pedestrian streets around the brown pins shown on the map below, which are some of the venues we’ll mention. You’ll also find some parking spots for those arriving by car from other areas.
Clubs in Santorini
Santorini’s nightlife for those seeking late dancing is concentrated mainly in the Fira area. If nightlife is the goal of your trip, it’s best to stay in Fira so you don’t have to travel far. Keep in mind that Fira is full of hills, descents, and stairs! 🙂
Enigma Club Santorini
Enigma Club is the most famous nightclub in Santorini. Paid entrance, and it has one indoor room that resembles the island’s white domes and one outdoor room; it might even be open outside the high season. It’s located in Fira, and the updated details can be found on the Enigma Club’s Facebook page.
Koo Club Santorini
Another popular venue in Santorini is Koo Club. It also has both an indoor area and a terrace. Depending on the night, it may not exactly resemble a nightclub but more of a lounge bar. Check the official website and the Facebook page.
Nightlife in Fira at Discobars
If you prefer something more easy than clubs but still want to dance to loud music, free-entry discobars found on the main streets of Fira is recommended, such as:
- Tango Bar, a “high-level” cocktail bar with a view of the caldera, where sometimes you’ll dance to Latin music;
- 2 Brothers bar, a friendly venue for who like rock music;
- Murphy’s Bar, an english/irish style bar, where you can dance;
Once you’re there, just have a walk and choose your place by the music and the people you see around… all venues are pretty close to each other! 🙂
Of course, in Fira, you’ll also find countless quiet rooftop bars with a view of the caldera… just choose the one that inspires you the most!

Cocktail Bars and Nightlife in Perissa
Leaving Fira, let’s head to Perissa beach (which I talk about in the guide to the beaches of Santorini). Here you’ll find a neighborhood full of bars, cocktail bars, and restaurants that is great both for those wanting to enjoy beach life and those seeking Santorini’s nightlife.
The nightlife here is a bit more chill; you won’t find large nightclubs, but there are various bars and cocktail bars, especially with large and comfortable (maybe too comfortable) sofas found almost everywhere.
The nightlife in Perissa offers music, and depending on the night and the season, there’s a chance to dance at beach bars, outdoor venues, or even directly on the beach, as the main road runs right along the sea, with colorful lights and tables from various establishments.
One example is the Tranquilo, but don’t stop at just one place, walk up and down the street until you find what suits you! You can also come to Perissa for an aperitif or dinner, perhaps even for a simple but tasty Gyrospita.

In terms of prices, Perissa is definitely more affordable than Fira and the other towns on the caldera.
Elegant Nightlife in Oia
Oia (pronounced “Ia”) is the most famous town with the famous white homes. Like Fira, it overlooks the caldera, but compared to Fira, it’s much more elegant and sophisticated (and expensive).
The nightlife in this area of Santorini is mainly composed of elegant restaurants, colorful cocktail bars with a view, and romantic atmospheres, without excess or too much party vibe.
When you head to Oia (at least one evening here is recommended!), if you’re looking for luxury and glamour, stay along the main marble-paved street. If you’re looking for something affordable but traditional, walk along the side streets: there, you’ll find places like Pitogyros, where I had the best pita on the island.

Where to go for Romantic Evenings in Santorini?
As you may have already guessed, if you’re looking for places for a more romantic nightlife in Santorini, you won’t be disappointed, as all the areas mentioned have venues, streets, and views perfect for the purpose.
- Oia is best suited for a high-level romantic evening;
- Fira offers both nightclubs and discobars, as well as quiet venues with views;
- Perissa with its street right in front of the sea offers outdoor venues with views of all kinds.
Nightlife in Santorini: How much does it cost?
Nightlife in Santorini is not too cheap and is slightly more expensive than the Greek average (just like everything on this island).
The price of cocktails will hardly be under 10€ each, and they can vary depending on the venue’s location.
Entry fees for the major nightclubs range from 10 to 25€, depending on the season, while discobars usually have free entry. Be aware that in nightclubs, bottles and tables can cost significant amounts.
Nightlife in Santorini in Winter
The colder months are not the best for traveling to Santorini in search of nightlife, as many activities will be closed.
However, if you find yourself on the island during the winter months and want some nightlife, it’s best to stay in Fira, where some discobars, bars, and restaurants may remain open; elsewhere, it’s likely everything is shut down.
